We won’t share your information with anyone else. We hate spam like we hate fishing in the rain!
That is our privacy policy.
There are others who may not share our concerns and interests on the issue. Every time you search the web, and on every site, there are other, interested parties who do collect information for the purpose of enhancing your experience online. Here are a few for you to think about.
- The browser you used to get started. That may be Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, or any number of others.
- The search engines you used to find this site, like Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
- The advertisers on the search result pages and on sites you visit.
Any or all of these may collect bits of information for the purpose of upgrading their services.
Your online financial privacy.
You may think that online financial transactions are less safe than daily financial transactions in the real world. You would be wrong. Think about this the next time you hand your credit card to a waiter in your favorite cafe, or to an attendant at a gas station. Could they have copied your information while your card was out of site? Is your mail box totally secure, or could someone swipe your bank or credit card statement while you are out?
Your privacy online, and your financial security online is no more or less safe than in the physical world.
